The Merino sheep is known for its high-quality wool. It is silky soft and thinner than traditional wool. As a result, it insulates and breathes even better. Increasingly, Merino wool is obtained under harsh conditions and involving significant animal suffering. We believe it is important that our Merino wool is entirely animal-friendly; therefore, we only use wool from happy sheep with the KbT certificate.

is one of the most coveted and luxurious types of wool. The wool comes from alpacas in the South American Andes Mountains. This wool also provides excellent insulation and absorbs moisture well, but is simultaneously hypoallergenic (contains no lanolin). Alpaca wool is sustainable and biodegradable.

Lambswool
The lambswool we use comes from the first shearing of the New Zealand lamb. This wool is a good heat insulator. The wool absorbs moisture well and transports it. We mostly use wool with the GOTS certificate. This means that the lambswool has been obtained in an animal-friendly way. The animals are kept according to organic standards and no harmful chemicals are used.
Camel wool
White camel wool is very soft and supple. Because the camels live in the desert, the wool insulates very well; it cools down in the heat and warms up in the cold. Because the animals shed their fur, they are not shorn, so the wool is obtained in an animal-friendly and artisanal way.

Bamboo is used as a cover layer for its insulating properties. Therefore, it is used not only in the cover layer but also in mattress ticking. Bamboo also has three times higher moisture absorption than cotton and wicks away moisture faster. The material is also hypoallergenic, antistatic, and is sourced and processed in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
Silk
Silk is the strongest natural fiber. It is elastic, insulates, and absorbs moisture very well. The silk used by Morpheus is marked with the GOTS certificate. This means that the silk is obtained in an animal-friendly manner and under environmentally friendly conditions.

Cashmere
Cashmere wool is a very soft and supple type of wool. The wool is obtained by combing the goat's coat, particularly the undercoat, neck, and chin. The cashmere in our mattresses comes from cashmere goats from the Himalayas.
Cotton
Our mattresses contain cotton in the top layers and in the mattress covers. Cotton is soft, breathes well, and absorbs moisture. Cotton cultivation is not always good for the environment, which is why we mostly use organic cotton with the GOTS certificate.
