Sleeping hard, a painful misunderstanding!
The claim that sleeping on a hard mattress is healthy is a persistent misconception that we continue to combat. On a hard surface, your body hardly gets the chance to truly rest, with all the unpleasant consequences that entails. A sagging, soft bed is not good either, for that matter. In both cases, the spine is bent; in other words, in an incorrect sleeping position. This creates unusual pressure or strain on the intervertebral discs, causing pain in your (lower) back by morning. This is despite the fact that a night's rest is supposed to bring your body relaxation.
Of course you want a comfortable bed—everyone does! However, a bed that feels comfortable in the store is not necessarily good for your body and night's rest. We therefore advise you not to focus initially on what you find comfortable, but rather to determine what your body needs: support, pressure-relieving comfort, and room for shoulders and hips. For an optimal night's rest, a good sprung mattress is required, as well as a surface that ventilates and moves with you or not. Morpheus is happy to help you with personalized advice!

Natural latex mattresses
Our collection of ecological mattresses consists largely of pure natural latex. This is traditionally manufactured from 100% natural latex, derived from the Hevea Brasiliensis.
Natural latex distinguishes itself from every other material through its natural resilience and elasticity. For optimal heat regulation, ventilation, and moisture control, all Sleep&Dream mattresses are covered with natural, mostly GOTS-certified materials such as cotton, virgin wool, wild silk, merino wool, camel hair, and cashmere.
The entire collection of natural latex mattresses features hip and shoulder comfort zones. All in all, this guarantees years of comfort and proper support. The natural latex mattresses also combine perfectly with (electrically) adjustable bed bases without compromising comfort and/or lifespan.
Pocket spring mattresses
The interior of pocket spring mattresses consists of barrel-shaped springs covered with natural latex and a mix of various hair types, such as horsehair or elastic cotton.
The springs ensure that the character of this collection is somewhat firmer. The pocket spring mattresses consist of barrel-shaped springs, individually wrapped in a pocket. Each mattress features hip and shoulder comfort zones and extra back support. The materials used guarantee years of resilience, as does the overall construction of the mattress. Thanks to their flexibility, the pocket spring mattresses are also suitable for use on (electrically) adjustable bed bases.
Mattress toppers
For those who opt for the most luxurious comfort, there is also the mattress topper.
A mattress topper is not a necessary part of the bed, but it does have the pleasant quality of making a bed feel wonderfully soft and fluffy. Our collection of mattress toppers is made from durable 100% natural latex covered with high-quality, natural materials such as virgin wool, cotton, and silk.
A mattress topper can also be used to eliminate the seam between two mattresses. An advantage of this application is that personal support from your own mattress is maintained, while the surface of the bed is covered across its entire width and length by a large mattress topper. If you have an adjustable bed, you can choose between two single mattress toppers or a split version.
Mattresses for children
A nice children's room is important to many, but don't forget that a good mattress is an important investment in your child's growth! No matter how small they are, children need a well-fitting mattress that also ventilates well and regulates temperature.
People often cut corners on the mattress so that it is easier to replace in the event of accidents in bed. However, there are countless ways to protect the mattress against this and ensure your child sleeps and grows up responsibly. The top layer is an important factor in the comfort, temperature regulation, ventilation, moisture regulation, and lifespan of a mattress. For this reason, we pay close attention to it.
Ecocare
At Sleep&Dream, sustainable and responsible production is central. This means: no harmful chemicals, respect for people, animals, and the environment, and safe working conditions without discrimination or child labor. To ensure this, we use GOTS and KBT certified materials, for example.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) stands for textiles made entirely from organic raw materials and produced under socially responsible and environmentally friendly conditions. The GOTS label guarantees that the entire production process – from raw material to finished product – meets strict environmental and social criteria.
In addition, we use certified wool from controlled organic livestock farming, indicated by the KBT (Kontrolliert Biologische Tierhaltung) label. This guarantees animal-friendly origin, where animals are kept in a natural way as part of organic farming.
Another important component of our ecological mattresses is the use of natural rubber sourced from the Hevea Brasiliensis. This rubber tree yields latex for an average of 20 to 35 years without the tree being damaged. After this period, the trees are replaced and 95% of the wood is reused, for example in the furniture industry. From an environmental perspective, natural rubber is a responsible alternative. The energy consumption involved in extracting, processing, and transporting natural rubber is significantly lower than in the production of synthetic foams. Moreover, rubber plantations have a high CO₂ absorption capacity, comparable to that of tropical rainforests. This makes natural rubber a valuable raw material in the fight against climate change. For this reason, all Sleep&Dream mattresses are manufactured as ecological variants as standard. So, you not only sleep comfortably but also actively contribute to a more sustainable world.

Natural!, not synthetic
The importance of purely natural materials
A good night's sleep is closely linked to the use of natural materials. That is why the purest materials are used to manufacture the Sleep&Dream mattress collection. Such as natural latex, virgin wool, wild silk, bamboo, camel hair, cashmere, and many more. Each material has specific properties and guarantees optimal ventilation and years of comfort.
Thanks to new industrial techniques, synthetic materials have become better at absorbing moisture and ventilating. Nevertheless, regulating heat effectively remains nature's best-kept secret. For this reason, we prefer to use pure, natural materials for wicking away moisture and, more importantly, regulating heat. After all, did you know that an adult loses as much as a quarter liter of perspiration per night? Mattresses made of and covered with synthetic materials wick away moisture quickly, but due to their synthetic composition, they also cause increased perspiration. Natural materials, on the other hand, prevent this. Furthermore, the insulating effect of natural products is superior, making your bed feel cozy and more comfortable.
COOL Mattress Cover
Starting from the thickness of the Savant and Empire mattresses, we offer the option to choose a Cool mattress cover. This special ticking combines natural and synthetic materials. This mix provides the highest possible performance in heat regulation and heat dissipation. The Cool mattress cover is made of 600 g/m² fabric and features a high-quality mix of: Primaloft®, corn, lyocell, bamboo, silk, GOTS cotton, and PCM (Phase-Changing Materials).
Primaloft® and PCM are innovative synthetic fibers with excellent insulating and heat-dissipating properties. These materials ensure that the temperature in bed remains pleasant and constant. The addition of natural materials contributes to natural moisture and heat regulation, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable and balanced sleeping climate.
