Duvets for a comfortable climate in bed
Down Duvet
Down duvets are wonderfully light and drape smoothly around you. The still air between the down feathers provides excellent insulation. In summer, the duvet keeps the heat out, and in winter, the cold. Additionally, down absorbs moisture well. Together, this ensures optimal ventilation and moisture regulation. To ensure that only the best down goes into the duvets, we fill them in our own workshop.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”258123″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In”][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Wild silk duvet (anti-allergic)
Wild silk is known as an anti-allergic natural product. It is an ideal duvet for the summer months: wild silk absorbs moisture very quickly, which provides a cooling effect. Due to the smooth filament, dust cannot settle, making it suitable for people with dust mite allergies. allergy.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]4-Season Duvet
It is possible to combine duvets. For example, in the warm summer you sleep under a thin duvet, and in the winter cold you attach a duvet with a higher fill weight to it. These duo duvets ensure an ideal sleeping climate, all four seasons long. At Morpheus, the above-mentioned duvets are available, as well as in a 4-season variant.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
Goose down or duck down?
Goose down is better than duck down. The difference lies in its insulating capacity. Goose down feathers are larger than those of a duck. As a result, goose down is more sought after. One of the quality criteria for down is the fill power of the material. Fill power indicates the insulating capacity; the larger the down feathers, the higher the quality. Fill power varies by habitat due to the different climates.
All Morpheus down bears the Downpass label. This guarantees that the animals are not live-plucked. Controls are being carried out on the breeding of ducks and geese.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”258114″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In”][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
Most expensive down in the world
Eiderdown, sourced from the Icelandic eider duck, is the most precious down in the world. Eiderdown has strong, microscopic barbs that hold the individual down feathers tightly together. This creates countless small air spaces between the downy hairs, which explains its excellent insulating properties.
In addition to its excellent insulating properties, its lifespan is much longer. It can last for well over forty years. It is also the softest down available. This is because eiderdown has no keel. The down is used to insulate the nests. By finishing the nest with it, the female and the eggs are protected from the cold. Because it clumps tightly, it does not blow away. After a brooding period of approximately 6 weeks, the nest is abandoned. The ducks go into the water, and for the eider farmers, the moment has arrived to collect the down. After the down has been washed, it is distributed among European down processing plants. The yield is approximately 3,000 kilos per year worldwide.
The eider duck has been a protected species since 1849. Eider farmers from Iceland provide a safe and peaceful living environment where the ducks cannot be attacked by birds of prey or foxes. The protected status has contributed to Iceland now having one of the largest populations of eider ducks. width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”258115″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In”][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
The perfect pillow
Just as with duvets, there is a wide choice of filling materials for pillows, such as down, feathers, foam rubber, kapok, and synthetic material. The latter, however, is not natural. Here too, natural material has the property of optimal ventilation and moisture regulation . Except for the kapok, all other natural pillows have a Nomite label. This means that they have a ticking that is so tightly woven that it is dust mite-free. This makes them suitable for people with allergies. The positive aspect of a synthetic pillow is that it is washable.
A pillow filled with feathers is very firm. Just like kapok, a fiber product derived from the kapok tree. In contrast, pillows filled with down are much softer. This varies because everyone has their own preference regarding the ratio of down to feathers in the pillow. Natural latex is a sturdy variant of this. Synthetic materials are a lot softer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][image_with_animation image_url=”258116″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In”][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ width=”2/3″][vc_row_inner top_padding=”30″ bottom_padding=”0″][vc_column_inner column_padding=”padding-4-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color=”#cbdbdb” background_color_opacity=”1″ width=”1/1″][vc_column_text el_class=”inzicht”]Want to experience the natural materials for yourself?
